Dave Knowles Counseling
I come to counseling after many years of working with people; first as a Naval Officer, and then as a Senior Manager in High Tech. I retired from High Tech in 2003 to pursue a new career in counseling by earning a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. After graduating in 2006, I took a position with De Paul Treatment Centers in Portland, Oregon working with men with addictions and other problems in a residential setting. Now I offer those same problem solving skills and stress reduction tools to you.
I offer a free one half hour consultation because I know that choosing a counselor is a very important decision. The first step can often be the most difficult step to take. Click on CONTACT above to set up an appointment and take that first step toward making a positive change in your life.
I am a member of the American Counseling Association and I abide by the ethics of this organization as well as the ethics of the State of Idaho Board of Professional Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists and the State of Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists.
I am listed in the Psychology Today website and the WeCounsel website.
